这次展览主要是关于边界这个概念的一些思考，而这些思考的源头始于疫情，在那个特殊时期的巨大变化中，我们不可避免的受到很多不可抗力的影响，这时常会让自己陷入一种困境，每当站在房间的窗台看向外部的世界的时候，一种限制的感觉油然而生，这种边界感不仅源自空间的局限，更来源于一种不确定性，和一种碎片化原子化生活的割裂感，因而想通过这几件作品来探讨这些不同维度的边界问题。
作品界“限”描绘的是一个广泛意义上的边界概念，从物理空间，个体关系，真实与虚拟，人工与智能这几个角度切入去表现不同的边界，最后又回到个人情绪的状态上来思考外部的杂质与个人的关联。作品界“际”通过八位参与者对日常和远方的描述，结合AI来探讨日常与远方的共性与异性，而后结合展示物件的特性来表现一种当下与想象间的边界。作品界“阈”则是更聚焦于空间的范畴，从一种空间状态去表现我们曾经的发展和憧憬好像都在崩塌，而信息化和AI的介入仿佛又在吞噬我们的生活，但最后我们似乎又只剩下回归到日常的细节中去。
This exhibition primarily explores the concept of boundaries, inspired by the epidemic. During that extraordinary period of significant change, we inevitably faced many unforeseeable forces, often leading us into predicaments. When we stand on the room's windowsill and gaze at the outside world, a sense of limitation arises spontaneously. This feeling of boundaries not only stems from spatial constraints but also from uncertainty and a sense of fragmentation and detachment in our atomized lives. Therefore, I aim to delve into the issues of boundaries across these different dimensions through these works.
The artwork "Boundary" depicts the broad concept of boundaries, touching on various aspects such as physical space, individual relationships, the real and the virtual, artificial intelligence, and finally returning to the realm of personal emotions to contemplate the connection between external impurities and individuals. Through descriptions of daily life and distant places by eight participants, the artwork "Relationship Boundary" integrates AI to explore the commonalities and differences between the everyday and the distant, subsequently combining the characteristics of the displayed objects to convey a boundary between the present and the imaginary. The artwork "Space Boundary" focuses more on the spatial category, using a spatial state to illustrate how our past development and aspirations seem to be crumbling, while the infiltration of information and AI seems to be engulfing our lives. However, in the end, it appears that we are left only to return to the details of daily life.

新媒体艺术创作者。出生于云南，硕士毕业于威尼斯美术学院，研究及创作涉及音画互动、人工智能艺术及传统艺术文化的数字化再现，曾与乐队nova heart、the either、哈佛大学中国艺术实验室、first电影节等团队及教育机构进行跨界合作。作品《Saṃsāra - kṣaṇa》曾代表威尼斯国立美术学院入选第十五届意大利国家艺术奖（Premio Nazionale Delle Arti），并先后在意大利萨萨里的马赛杜博物馆展出及西班牙瓦伦西亚理工大学及中国沈阳展出，作品《界“限”》曾展出于上海西岸艺术中心及北京保利艺术中心，作品《“瓷”流》作为御窑天下驻留项目曾展出于御窑博物馆，作品《“声”万物》曾展出于北京时代美术馆，作品《Emotion and Feelings》曾展出于纽约Island of Light展览，作品《影舞万象》曾展出于中国印刷艺术双年展。Haofan Liu, a creator of new media art. Born in Yunnan, graduated with a master's degree from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts, researching and creating digital representations of music and painting interaction, artificial intelligence art, and traditional art and culture. Has collaborated with the band The Other, Harvard University's Chinese Art Laboratory, First Film Festival, and other teams and educational institutions.
